A poem... I am calling it a normal day

I wrote a poem on what it’s like on a ‘normal’ day with anxiety. A lot of this doesn’t happen all on one day but rather seperate times. Anyway so this is it.

A normal day,
I picked up my pen,
My hands were shaking,
A normal day,
My heart ran faster then a racehorse,
My head felt like a drummer was using it to practice,
A normal day,
I sat down,
It felt like a thousand butterflies were doing a dance inside my stomach,
A normal day,
I told myself this is silly,
Your being stupid,
A normal day,
I bit my lip,
It helped keep my lunch inside,
A normal day,
The bell rung,
My eyes went wider than an elephant,
A normal day,
Almost home,
Waves of anxiety and sadness from the day wash out of me and onto my cheeks,
A normal day,
Home,
And deep breath.

That was it. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful day!

Format it a little. Also give us a bit of an idea about what makes you anxious, what situations make you. But thanks for giving a little insight

Thanks I will try to do that... but for the situations I wanted to point out that there aren’t specific situations sometimes. Sometimes you just feel anxious for no reason

Oh, are there any specific triggers that make you feel anxious(e.g sound). And is it mainly at school, or also at school. Sorry for the questions, they just give me a little insight

I understand what you mean! Sometimes anxiety comes out of nowhere or seemingly out of nowhere. Has tracking your anxiety levels alongside other things going on in your life something you've tried? It might help you to understand your mind a little more.
